A man has used Twitter to describe how his Canadian relative, on whom he had been counting, let him down.
Before he immigrated to Canada, he said that his cousin made a commitment to support him and provide advice. He claimed that his cousin erected a barrier between them when he got there and wouldn’t even return his calls.
He continued by saying that he was ultimately helped by complete strangers.
“Sometimes, family is just blood. A stranger can do what a family member can never do for you,” he wrote.
