There is commotion inside the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat in Abuja, as a group of protesters have stormed the grounds, chanting chants against Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the party’s national chairman.
While a meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) was in place, a group of youths from Kogi State invaded the party’s headquarters.
They claimed that their principal’s ticket for a House of Representatives contest was given to someone else.
The security operatives rushed in and shut the entrance gate as the youngsters threatened Adamu not to leave the premises.
Following the development, the security operatives pushed journalists out of the secretariat.
However, they (journalists) were later asked to identify themselves for security reasons before they were allowed to settle down.
