On Tuesday, May 10, the police charged four instructors from Chrisland School in Yaba Magistrate Court in Lagos State with sexual misbehavior by five students during an international trip.
The personnel who accompanied the students to Dubai, UAE, for the World School Games, a four-day yearly competition with schools from all over the world, were brought before the court.
Oladotun Sotunde, Elesho Tajudeen, Rhoda Olanipekun, and Ajiboye Hammed are the individuals in question.
The teachers have been charged with alleged conspiracy and conduct likely to cause a public disturbance.
After the sex video of the affected pupils went viral on the social media, the Lagos State Government announced the closure of all the branches of the school in the state.
However, the government directed the reopening of the schools a week later following a review of the administrative investigation into the incident.
