Taiwo and Kehinde Olishe, 11 years old twin brothers, were arrested by police in Ogun State for alleged child abuse and physical molestation.
The twin brothers were reportedly tied down and beaten for defecating in the compound in Ijebu-Ode by the suspect.
He was claimed to have been arrested after the twins’ mother, Gbenisola Olishe, filed a complaint with the Nigeria Police Force’s Ijebu Ode Area Command.
The mother told the police that while she was away from home, a good Samaritan called her and told her that the landlord had “tied her twins’ hands and legs with rope like a goat and dragged them on the ground.”
She said the twin brothers were beaten by the landlord, who also made a video record of the “heinous act.”
According to her, the twins sustained varying degrees of injuries as a result of the wicked act of the landlord.
The Police Spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement on Friday, said following the report, the Area commander ijebu Ode, Adeniyi Omosanyin, detailed some policemen to the scene.
He said the operatives who met the two boys being tied down, rescued and took them to the hospital for treatment.
He said the landord was immediately arrested and taken into custody.
