At a pub, the white woman who fatally stabbed her Nigerian-American lover was observed having a drink with her father.
On Sunday, April 3, Courtney Tailor Clenney stabbed Christian Toby Obumseli, a Nigerian-American man, to death in their Miami residence.
Courtney was arrested, but she threatened to harm herself, so the Baker Act was used to commit her to a mental health facility.
Officers in Florida can use the Baker Act to commit someone to a mental health treatment facility for up to 72 hours.
Courtney hasn’t been charged and is free to go.
On Friday night, April 8, she was seen in a bar with her father, and the Nigerian woman who saw her, Nnenna, harassed her out of the establishment.
“Yea, you should go. You should go, ‘cos you just killed your boyfriend,”Nnenna is heard telling Courtney.
Courtney and her father left the bar immediately.
