In Takoradi, Ghana’s capital and the capital of the Western Region, a thief was beaten to death in front of his mother.
Nana Kwadwo Duah, a thief, was reportedly beaten by his Fijai neighbors for stealing, according to local news outlets.
According to eyewitnesses, the 30-year-old robber has scared Fijai villagers for far too long with his thievery.
On Wednesday, April 6, about 3 a.m., they discovered him stealing again and decided to put an end to it.
His mother’s cries and pleadings were reportedly inadequate to prevent him from receiving jungle justice.
His devastated mother disclosed that her son was stealing to pay off a debt he had incurred as a result of stealing a television set from a neighbor.
