In Ogbomosho, Oyo state, a suspected thief was apprehended after attempting to inject an insecticide into a salesgirl.

The man pretended to be looking for a laptop when he entered the business. He attacked the sales girl a few minutes later and attempted to inject her with a liquid substance that was subsequently revealed to be a pesticide.

He was apprehended and turned over to the authorities.
