NDLEA reacts to death of Nigerian law student after taking cannabis sweet

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has responded to the death of Damilola Grace Olakanmi, a 23-year-old Nigerian student born in the United Kingdom.

Last Saturday, a University of Hertfordshire business law student died after swallowing a suspected cannabis sweet in east London.

On Damilola’s death, the NDLEA echoed a statement issued by UK Justice campaigner Richard Taylor.

“It’s a tragic warning to all young people about how they live their lives. They should resist drugs.”
