Hon. Olugbenga Omole, a member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, has escaped an alleged assassination attempt.
Unknown gunmen are said to have attacked the lawmaker, who represents Akoko Southwest Constituency 1, in Akure, the state capital, on Thursday night, March 31.
The assailants fired multiple rounds at his automobile, according to the congressman who confirmed the incident to journalists in Akure.
