On Thursday, a Jos Central Area Court in Kasuwan Nama, Plateau State, dissolved Adaka Yunana and his wife Helen’s three-year marriage after she eloped with her lover.
In accepting Yunana’s plea, a panel of judges chaired by Ghazali Adam and Hyacinth Dolnanan stated that all attempts to reconcile the two parties had failed.
According to NAN, the judges ordered Yunana and Helen to go their separate ways.
Yunana had already asked the court to dissolve his marriage to Helen.
“My wife eloped to be with her lover in 2019, the same year I married her,” he claimed.
“She didn’t call to explain why she left her house.”
