How Missing UNIJOS Student Was Lured To a Hotel, Drugged, Killed by Boyfriend

Jennifer Anthony, a 300-level student at the University of Jos, UNIJOS, was gruesomely murdered, according to the Plateau State Police Command.

The victim, a student at the University’s Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation Science, was discovered dead in a motel with her eyes gorged out, according to reports.

A man presumed to be her lover allegedly brought her to Domus Pacis lodge on Zaria road in Jos, where she was drugged before being killed and her essential organs removed.

It was also learned that following the heinous deed, the boyfriend fled the hotel and took almost everything that could be used to track him, including the lady’s phone and other valuables in her bag.

Jennifer’s mangled body was discovered by one of her friends who tracked her down to the hotel and discovered her in a pool of blood with her eyes and other important organs gone, according to a source connected to the hotel.

The incident was discovered by a friend, who contacted the hotel management, who called the cops. The lady’s remains have been taken to the Plateau State Specialist Hospital.

The command’s spokesperson, ASP Ubah Gabriel Ogaba, confirmed the event and stated the investigation into the murder has begun.

“The Command is aware of the heinous occurrence that occurred in the Domus Pacis lodge on January 1st. The culprit, who is still at large, fled with all means of the victim’s identity.”

“The Commissioner of Police has ordered a discrete investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident and to arrest the perpetrators of that dastardly act. We promise to furnish the media with more details on the incident as it unfolds.”

He added that the State Commissioner of Police on Thursday January 8, also had a security meeting with hoteliers in Jos over the incident and gave them some security tips to avoid future occurrences.
