On Tuesday, two middle-aged males were caught while exhuming 16 skulls and body parts from a burial mound at Kilometer 1 on the Moniya-Iseyin road in Iseyin.
Alfa Yunusa Atikoko and Wasiu Ajikanle are the suspects.
They were apprehended by members of the Odua People’s Congress (OPC) and the Yoruba Revolutionary Movement (YRM) in the Alamole area (YOREM).
They were apprehended after exhuming the bodies and storing the body parts in sacks.
The suspects have been handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution, according to a witness.
According to the Daily Trust, there have been allegations regarding missing bodies at the cemetery, which the cemetery’s authorities have been unable to account for.
