They live in Mars- Senator Shehu Sani reacts to FG’s decision to give N5000 to poor Nigerians after fuel subsidy is removed

Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the Federal Government’s intention to provide N5000 to poor Nigerians after the gasoline subsidy is phased off in February 2022.

On Tuesday, Finance Minister Zaina Ahmed announced that after the fuel subsidy is abolished, underprivileged Nigerians will be awarded a N5000 transportation payment.
When the subsidy is gone, the price of a liter of fuel is expected to rise to N340.

Sani warned in a tweet this morning that the rise in gasoline prices will affect all sectors of the economy. He claimed that the Federal government must be from Mars if they believe the N5000 can fix any problem.
