FG to lose N90m as Railway workers embark on 3-day warning strike

Nigerian Railway workers will commence a three-day warning strike today, November 18, costing the federal government N90 million.

Today, November 18, the employees began their strike. They want greater worker welfare, a higher income, a better working environment, payment of their promotional arrears, and the demolition of their staff quarters, among other things.

The Federal Government is set to lose N90 million as railway workers go on strike for three days.

Angry rail personnel secured the gates to the NRC train platform, as well as the corporation’s facilities, leaving a large number of passengers delayed today.
