DJ Switch, a disc jockey and activist, has reacted to the Lekki Tollgate findings by the Lagos Panel of Inquiry, which charged Nigerian military.
In its 309-page report to Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday, the Judicial Panel of Inquiry on EndSARS referred to the killing of demonstrators at the Lekki Tollgate on October 20, 2020 as a “massacre.”
Soldiers and Nigerian security operatives were indicted in the killings and forced disappearances of unarmed youngsters protesting at the Lekki Tollgate, according to the panel.
DJ Switch live-streamed the shooting of unarmed EndSARS demonstrators by security agents at the Lekki Tollgate on October 20, 2020, which left dozens injured and many dead.
DJ Switch claimed that after her daring conduct that day, she received threats to her life from unknown individuals, forcing her to flee.
But, in response to the new story, she noted how officials fought tooth and nail to keep the truth hidden, but it eventually surfaced.
