Bandits kidnap students from a Catholic seminary in Kaduna.
Saint Albert the Great Institute of Philosophy, a Catholic church-owned seminary in Fayit village, Kagoma Chiefdom in Jama’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has reportedly been attacked by bandits.
According to Channels Television, the shooters entered the school on Monday night and began shooting intermittently, causing panic and worry among the pupils and employees.
They then abducted an undetermined number of students to an unknown location until local vigilantes came and stopped them from abducting any more.
Kaduna Police Command spokesperson, Mohammed Jalige confirmed the incident, saying that the police Tactical team is currently at the school to confirm the number of students kidnapped and how the incident happened.
