Imo state youths staged a skit to raise awareness about the state’s deplorable road situation.
Residents have been concerned about the Nekede-Ihiagwa road for months. To compel the government to act, young people staged a photo shoot on the dangerous road.
The teens can be seen grilling in the middle of muddy water and swimming in the murky water on the road in images from the scene.
Before President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to Imo State in September this year, it was reported that the president would commission the Nekede-Ihiagwa road, among other projects.
However, photos show the road is still in a terrible state and members of the community are trying to raise awareness in the way they can.
