The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has proclaimed six Nigerians wanted for terrorism.
According to Al Arabaiya, a foreign news source, Nigerians are among the 38 individuals and 15 organisations put to the country’s terror designation list.
The 38-man list includes four Emiratis, two Lebanese, eight Yemenis, five Syrians, five Iranians, two Iraqis, and one each from India, Afghanistan, the United Kingdom, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Russia, and Jordan.
Abdurrahaman Ado Musa, Salihu Yusuf Adamu, Bashir Ali Yusuf, Muhammed Ibrahim Isa, Ibrahim Ali Alhassan, and Surajo Abubakar Muhammad are among the Nigerians on the list.
The publication reported that “the decision comes within the framework of the UAE’s efforts to target and disrupt networks associated with the financing of terrorism and its associated activities.”
