A school girl has died at a home in Wales after a medical incident.
The nine-year-old became unwell at the Bridgend property yesterday evening.
At 6.10 p.m., medics were among the emergency services who arrived in Trem Y Castell, Coity.
An air ambulance, an urgent care doctor, the hazardous area response team, and a road ambulance were all summoned.
The casualty was airlifted to Cardiff’s University Hospital of Wales.
Despite the best efforts of medics, she was unable to be rescued.
On behalf of the coroner, police from South Wales are conducting an investigation.
The incident is not being investigated as a possible homicide.
