A woman said she was denied boarding on a plane because she was dressed “inappropriately.”
The passenger posted a TikTok video of herself being questioned by police shortly after exiting the plane.
“I was harassed about my outfit, I had put my shirt back on,” woman tells the officer in the video.
“So you did have it off at one point?” the officer interjects.
She raises her T-shirt and declares: “They asked me to put on a shirt since I was wearing a sports bra. They approached me again, saying I couldn’t wear it because “the stomach is showing and it’s unacceptable.” I put the shirt back on, and they approached me again, saying I couldn’t wear it because “the stomach is showing and it’s inappropriate.””
The passenger claimed she was contacted three times on the plane by flight attendants who complained about her crop top until she was forced off.
“We’re simply trying to get your side of the story versus what they’re saying, there’s nothing criminal,” a male police officer can be heard telling her.
“They have dress code standards that they must observe.”
The woman, on the other hand, defends herself, claiming that she read up the policies online.
