Women’s Rights Protesters Beaten By Taliban in Kabul

A group of women’s rights demonstrators marching through Kabul were allegedly tear gassed and beaten bloody by Taliban forces.

The tumultuous scenes can be seen on video, with a gathering of women shouting and coughing while Taliban fighters with rifles appear to tell them to disperse.

When protesters attempted to march on the presidential palace, Taliban gunmen reportedly shot their rifles into the air, deployed tear gas, and hit protesters.

One demonstrator has a bleeding face after being allegedly slapped over the head by one of the fighters, according to video.

And in another clip a demonstrator can be seen snatching a megaphone from a Taliban official amid the chaotic scenes as the soldiers try to force back the march.
