Canadian Rapper Drake To Feature Tems on ‘Certified Lover Boy’ Album

Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, a Nigerian sonorous vocalist, has put another feather to her cap by being named as one of the featured artists on Drake’s upcoming highly anticipated album, Certified Lover Boy.

In various billboard advertisements in Lagos, the Canadian superstar singer stated that Tems will be featured on the album, which will be published on Friday, September 3, 2021.

The billboard reads, “Hey Nigeria Tems is on CLB.”

In a similar tactic, Drizzy, as the Canadian singer is known, has placed billboard ads in places where other artists who will be included on the album are scheduled to perform.

Drake has already confirmed that the album would feature worldwide superstars such rappers Young Thug, Future, 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Giveon, and Ty Dolla $ign.

Temilade Openiyi was born in Lagos, Nigeria, on June 11, 1995. In 2018, she released “Mr Rebel,” a song she wrote herself. In August of this year, she released the track Try Me.

Damages, a single from her For Broken Ears EP, became another follow-up hit to Try Me, with 2.7 million YouTube views.

Her collaboration with Wizkid on the song “Essence” won her a top spot on the BBC 1Xtra Airplay Chart in 2020, as well as her first career entry on the Billboard Hot 100.
