Kidnapped Niger Islamiyya Students Regain Freedom After 88 Days

The abductors of around 70 students from Islamiyya school in Tegina town who were kidnapped by armed gunmen in Niger State have been released.

The students were kidnapped from their school in June.

According to a security source, the students are in route to Minna from Birnin Gwari via Kagara.

According to the timeline of the days and hours they spent in the bandits’ custody, the Islamiya students were detained for 88 days and 11 hours.
