Former porn star Ron Jeremy has been charged with sexual assault on more than 30 charges, including “rapping women at photoshoots and clubs” and “abusing minor children.”
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office indicted Jeremy, 67, on assault charges stretching back to 1996, involving 21 victims, including a 15-year-old girl.
Prosecutors allege that in October 1996, Jeremy raped a 19-year-old woman at a photo session in the San Fernando Valley.
The 67-year-old is also accused of rapping a 26-year-old woman in a nightclub in 2000 and sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl at a home in Woodland Hills in 2008.
In addition, Jeremy is suspected of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl in June 2004, a 38-year-old lady in a West Hollywood nightclub in January 2013, and a young woman in a City of Industry strip club between 2002 and 2003.
In a statement, District Attorney Gascón stated, “Far too frequently, survivors of sexual assault suffer in isolation.”
“We must guarantee that survivors have access to all available resources to aid in their recovery, including trauma-informed healing therapies and assistance in reporting such acts.”
