Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, better known as Wale, a Nigerian-American rapper, has stated that impressing Nigerian parents is difficult.
He used the microblogging site Twitter to share his story with his own parents, recalling how they responded when he signed with Interscope Records.
Even after signing a record deal, the crooner claims that his parents insisted on his getting a regular job a week later.
Remembering when I signed wit interscope and a week later they asked me to get a job. They never impressed and that’s maybe why I’m like this”, he tweeted.
