Ahmed Musa set to join Turkish club Karagumruk after 3 months at Kano Pillars

Ahmed Musa, the captain of the Super Eagles, is expected to finalize a free transfer to Fatih Karagumruk of the Turkish Super Lig in the coming hours, according to reports.

Musa has spent the previous three months with Kano Pillars, a local Nigerian team where he began a brilliant career that has taken him to Russia and England, particularly Leicester City, where he made his reputation.

Musa is expected to join Karagumruk, according to Fanatik, after his agency toiled for weeks to obtain the deal.

Galatasaray and Besiktas are alleged to have been beaten to the signing of Musa by Karagumruk.

The move would mark a return to Europe for the 28-year-old, who left Leicester City for Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr in 2018.
