Former Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose has derided the Attorney-general of the Federation, Abubakar Malami over his order to security agencies to arrest Nigerians still using Twitter.
It will be recalled that the Nigerian government suspended Twitter’s activities in the country shortly after the social media platform deleted President Muhammadu Buhari’s tweet citing ‘genocidal violence’.
Fayose wrote; “Nigerians welcome the international community’s condemnation of President Buhari’s suspension of Twitter access.”
“They should go further to hold him and his govt to account for further loss of lives and human right abuses in Nigeria going by his deleted genocidal message.”
The Ekiti strongman further mocked the AGF by tweeting; “AGF Malami, I just tweeted. No shaking!”
