Frozen accounts, passport seizure: Youths threaten second Stage of #EndSARS protests from Monday
Nigerian youths have taken to social media to threaten a second stage of #EndSARS protests from Monday November 9 2020, in some parts of Lagos and Abuja.
After a court order giving the Central Bank of Nigeria, the right to freeze bank accounts of 19 individuals and a public affairs company linked to #EndSARS protests, some angry Nigerian youths took to Twitter to threaten a a second phase of protests.
It was reported that the request to freeze bank accounts granted by Justice Ahmed Mohammed, of the Federal High Court in Abuja was filed by the apex bank on October 20 2020.
However, some Nigerians have taken to Twitter to drag the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, for freezing the bank accounts of #EndSARS protesters and promoters across the country.
And this has lead to a fresh threats from the angry protesters to restart the #EndSARS movement on Monday November 9 2020 at the CBN headquarters in Abuja and its Lagos office while accusing Emefiele’s involvement in the freezing of accounts.
