Arrested #EndSARS protesters to be remanded in prison till 2021 (Pictures)

Court has allegedly ordered the remand of #ENDSARS protesters who were arrested while protesting at the National Assembly complex in Abuja on Friday, November 6 2020. Reports has it that, a magistrate court sitting in Abuja yesterday November 6 2020 ordered that the five persons who participated in the #ENDSARS  protest be remanded at a correctional center until 25th January 2021 when the case was adjourned Sahara Reporters, on Friday November 6 2020 reported that Omoyele Sowore posted some pictures and videos online stating that he and some of the protesters who stormed the National Assembly to paint EndSARS graffiti on the road leading to the Assembly were attacked by policemen and five of them were arrested.     Omoyele also made a second post on his Facebook page, he revealed that the arrested protesters were arraigned before a Magistrate court and the court denied them bail and ordered that they be remanded in prison custody till next year.   Read what Sowore wrote on Facebook below; “After our #EndSARS Graffiti action at the National Assembly today, we headed to the Magistrates in Wuse area of Abuja where some of our colleagues were arraigned after unlawful arrests were carried out by the Nigerian police. The court activities were scripted, it was unbelievable! The Magistrate denied our comrades bail using the case of Asari Dokubo as a justification. We were all shocked but not surprised. They were eventually led away to prison! Just another sad day and the reason we must keep fighting to liberate ourselves. #RevolutionNow”
