The Lagos State Government led by Governor Babajide Sanwolu recently gives a directive to ban ‘keke’ and ‘Okada’ in the state a on Lagos major roads and the effective date for the directive is February 1st 2020.

Okada as it is popularly called is motorcycle/motorbike while;

This newly declared policy has got many Lagosians wondering what the Government was thinking when making such policy as that will make many Lagosians with no car suffer on the road.

Another point of concern to Lagosians is that Commercial bus drivers will make use of the situation to hike their prices which will in turn make life hard for people.

It might also increase the number of Motor Vehicles on the roads and that will directly increase the level of traffic gridlock on the roads.

Many Lagosians are waiting for Monday to testrun the workability or otherwise of the policy.
