A 15-year-old boy, identified as Taiye Majekodunmi, has reportedly been arrested in Lagos after he was found with a g¥n hidden inside bread.
In a video of his interrogation, Taiye said he lives around Mushin Market and identified the item in his possession as a g¥n.
When asked where he got it, he said, “Samuel gave it to me.”
Taiye explained that Samuel is his friend and that they have not known each other for long. He also said he does not know what Samuel does for a living, adding, “I just see him everyday.”
According to the teenager, Samuel approached him after he returned from school and asked him to take the bread to Oshodi.
He said he was told that someone would meet him at Terminal 1 to collect the bread.
“Now today he saw me when I got back from school and asked me to help him to something to Oshodi and that someone will come and meet me at terminal 1 to collect the bread from me sir,” he said.
When asked if Samuel was his brother, Taiye replied, “No, he’s my friend.”
He also confirmed his age when asked, saying, “I’m 15 years.”
