Talented 14-year-old Matthew McKenzie achieved a remarkable achievement by graduating from high school and college on the same day.
Matthew McKenzie graduated from Chattahoochee Technical College in Georgia with an Interdisciplinary Studies degree after complete his high school courses.
To the delight of everyone, especially his parents, the young genius received his high school diploma on the same day that he graduated from Chattahoochee Technical College with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Matthew McKenzie began reading tough literature at the age of four and then enrolled in college when he was eleven. He began homeschooling him in the second grade, and as a result, his academic progress has accelerated.
“We would pull material from different textbooks and custom create his curriculum,” his mother, Monique McCord, narrated.
Monique McCord also narrated that at the time Matthew started college, she walks him to class so as to ensure he adapts with the new environment. “I started off walking him to class and then the environment got a little more comfortable, then he started walking himself, so he eased into the transition,” he said.
Matthew McKenzie said in response to his amazing accomplishment that he now plans to work as a cosmetic chemist. Before to transferring to Georgia Tech to pursue his master’s and doctoral degrees in chemical engineering, he intends to complete his biochemistry coursework at Kennesaw State University.
